The Nominations Committee accepted two (2) nominations for the position of President, Barbara Brookins and Mona O’Shea. With the nominations of two candidates, there will be an election held on October 12th. All members will receive a ballot in the mail four (4) weeks prior (early September) to the election date, with a postage paid envelope to return the ballot. All ballots will be returned to the PEINU’s auditor, Arsenault Best Cameron Ellis, Chartered Accountants, who will take possession of all unopened, mailed in ballots. They will be placed in a locked ballot box until they are delivered to the Nominations Committee on October 12th, when they will be opened and counted. The successful candidate will then be announced.
