PEI Nurses’ Union does it again! Home Instead Senior Care “Be a Santa to a Senior” campaign was the latest recipient of a much needed donation. The program brings together area nonprofits, retailers, numerous volunteers and members of the community to provide gifts and companionship for lonely and isolated seniors.
A donation to the Canadian Mental Health Association, PEI division’s – White Cross Program, will go towards delivering presents to Islanders who are experiencing mental health issues. — with Colleen Loane Bacon, Sharon Claybourne, Stacy M Chaisson and Zellah Johnston.
In 2016, four (4) $1,000 bursaries were awarded to children of members who were attending a post secondary institution for study during the 2016 calendar year.
