“CFNU is proud to announce that on June 19th the Parliamentary Health Committee released its report into violence in health care – the first report of its kind from the Canadian parliament.
This study is the fruit of CFNU’s 2-year long advocacy campaign on violence at the national level. The recommendations almost entirely reflect the positions brought to committee by CFNU. They will serve us well at federal and provincial levels as we continue to ramp up pressure on this critical issue. (Note: the only irritant is the mention of P3s in the last recommendation, which we should oppose – other than that the report is very strong.)”
