The PEI Nurses’ Union (PEINU) in partnership with Canadian Federation of Nurses Unions (CFNU), is proud to introduce two new bursaries to support the next generation of nurses. These financial supports, offered in addition to the long-standing CFNU Nursing Student Scholarship, are a meaningful way to recognize and encourage nursing students across the country.
Three Annual Student Supports Now Available:
- CFNU Nursing Student Scholarship (existing)
For students currently enrolled in nursing programs.
Amount: $1,000 per calendar year. - Indigenous Nursing Student Scholarship (new)
For students who self-identify as Indigenous and are enrolled in nursing studies.
Amount: $1,000 per calendar year. - Kathleen Connors Rural and Remote Nursing Bursary (new)
For nursing students who are from, and intend to work in, rural or remote communities.
Amount: $1,000 per calendar year.
