On November 17th, the Prince Edward Island Nurses’ Union are hosting a Public Rally to send a message to Health PEI and the PEI Government that they need to prioritize settling a new Collective Agreement for our Island’s Registered Nurses, Registered Psychiatric Nurses, and Nurse Practitioners.
Our nurses have been working without a Collective Agreement since April 1, 2025, and after 32 days of collective bargaining with no meaningful counterproposals, the PEI Nurses’ Union felt we had no choice but to walk away from the bargaining table last month.
At a time when Islanders continue to face challenges accessing health care, the retention and recruitment of our nurses needs to be a priority.
All are welcome at the rally! Drop-ins are welcome, but we recommend you please fill out the form below to RSVP and let us know PEI’s nurses have your support.
