Happy Nurses Week!
This week is all about you. We know this work isn’t easy. The challenges are many, and the system is stretched, but every day, you continue to show up with skill, compassion, and determination. Your contributions don’t go unnoticed, and neither does your strength. You are the foundation of our health care system, and this week, we honour your dedication and resilience.

We’re thrilled to announce we are launching our new website this week! Built with your needs in mind, it’s a fresh, streamlined space where you can easily access resources, updates, and union news.
We are getting ready to launch a new public relations campaign focusing on the realities experienced by nurses everyday. In addition, Negotiations are just around the corner and our focus during this process will be clear: invest in nurses. Reinvest the millions currently spent on for-profit agency contracts back into our public system. Invest in retention incentives, better scheduling tools, paid mentorship and training, and respect for the knowledge and continuity our members provide.
Your voice is powerful. Your work matters. And together, we will continue to fight for the staffing, respect, and conditions that every nurse in this province deserves. Happy Nurses Week!
